In "due time" The Way of the Lord Fellowship will transform the lives of:
Into the Kingdom of God in which youth, young adults, families and elders grow into community conscious, Holy Spirit filled, and empowered Believers in Jesus the Christ.
"To Equip Believers to Live Free in Jesus Christ!"
We hope to live out this mission by doing the following:
Serving and affirming Believes to live without condemnation in union with Christ. Romans 5:1-5
Emulating Jesus the Christ, embodying His spirit of forgiveness, patience, self-determination, and Christ-image character in our condition of existence.
Teaching Believers, proclaiming release to the captives, and reaching out to the poor in spirit with the Word of God in love and prayer. Luke 4:18
Encouraging, Equipping and Perfecting (growing) Christian Disciples transforming the next generation of youth, young adults and families so that God's people would learn to serve and His body would grow strong spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially. Ephesians 4:12, Genesis 1:28
Our goal is to reach, liberate, reproduce and empower youth, young adults, families and our elders by the Word of God to be the “salt of the earth” and transform their communities into the Kingdom of God based upon the biblical mandate in Genesis 1:28.
"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. ~ Geneis 1:28 KJV
“Equipping Believers to live free in Christ”
The Way of the Lord Church Ministry is a church that desires to minister to the whole person and serve the entire community, and be rooted in unconditional love and forgiveness of those who offend us individually and collectively. Our vision is to serve and affirm the people of God, through the Word of God, embodying the Holy Spirit, honoring Jesus the Christ, as we observe our bodies as temples of the living God edifying the Kingdom of God on earth. Our mission is to emulate Jesus the Christ in our daily lives, honoring Him with our bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit, exemplified in the love of self, our neighbors, and community. We are not ashamed of nor do we apologize of who we are in Christ. We are inclusive of all people regardless race, class, and gender.
We believe in the triune God-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; both human and God, born of a virgin, crucified, buried, and resurrected. Jesus is Lord!
We believe there is power in the name of Jesus and his name is the only name by which people can receive salvation; and have all authority on earth.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
We believe we have to be the salt around sinners in order to lead them to Christ. We are to be in the world but not of the world in order to lead the unsaved to accept to accept Jesus as their savior.
We believe in forgiving any entity that has offended us as stated in Mark 11:25 out of obedience to God as to receive the desires of our heart.
We believe in the paying of our tithes as stated in Malachi 3:10-12, and assisting other ministries around the world as stated in Luke 7:38 and 2 Corinthians 9: 6-13.
We believe that death and life are in the power of the tongue as stated in Proverb 18:21 and will use our tongue for affirmation not defamation.
We believe the Church is the body of Jesus the Christ where believers’ convene, commune, and fellowship on one accord, having all things in common distributing resources to all as needed as stated in Acts 2: 43-47.
We believe in victory over adversity and power of healing through the gifts of the Spirit according to 1 Corinthian 12 and Mark 16: 15-18.
We believe in water baptism, and observance of the Lord’s Supper as a remainder of who we were before Christ, who we are in Christ, and who we can be with Christ.
We believe in building the Kingdom of God on earth for the imminent return of Jesus the Christ.
Finally, we believe God is love, and believers in Jesus the Christ should love the Lord with all their heart, love themselves as God loves them, and love others as they love themselves.
